For those following our Twitter account and members of our Discord, you would know by now of my love of Western films. From the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone to “Young Guns” to “3:10 to Yuma”, I have always had a love of the Western genre.
To celebrate this and pay homage to some of my favorite movies, I have been working on a series of adventures I call the Red Rock Adventures.
Made in the same vein as our former adventure, Against the Tide of the Pirate King, these adventures will all serves as “mini-modules” which can be completed over a few sessions. These adventure are also designed to be played together as a stand alone campaign or separately as parts of another on going campaign.
Still early in development, we are happy to show off the rough outline for the Table of Contents for To Live and Die in Tall Pines.
Within the Red Rock Adventures, the party will face off against four rival gangs of outlaws, the Cooper Gang, the Deathlock Gang, Deadeye Mayze and the Rock Creek Posse, and the Frostwild Boys. Each adventure focuses on a separate gang, and the flow of the adventure reflects the tone and themes of each gang.
The first adventure in the planned four volumes is To Live and Die in Tall Pines. Focused on the outlaws known as the Cooper Gang, the players must content with Jeremiah Cooper and his rogue gang of outlaws who seek to control everything around the town of Tall Pines.
Full of high stakes shootouts, deadly enemies, and cunning allies, any player setting foot in Tall Pines must be quick on the draw, and ready to throw down with any contender.
As part of a preview for our loyal supporters, we are happy to share with you the rough draft of the table of contents. Obviously we won’t go into too much details for the sake of not giving away any spoilers, but enjoy this sneak peak at what will be in store for the players who choose to pick up Red Rock Adventures Vol. 1: To Live and Die in Tall Pines!
Red Rock Adventures is currently in development and does not have a release date as of yet. But, stay tuned to this website, our Discord, our Patreon, our Twitter, or our Facebook page to learn more when it is announced!
