So, it has been awhile!
Between my wife and son getting sick, me getting sick, and everyone having trouble sleeping, it has been A LOT.
Thankfully, tonight, I got to put in some work on Rise. Most of it is very bare bones and needs some polish, but in terms of a "proof of concept" I think its coming along well!
Added in Backstab system on Enemy Grunts
Added in Riposte system for Grunts and Bosses to deal heavy damage
Added in Death Screen
Added in Boss Defeat Screen
Pretty happy with what we have so far, but in terms of the long term roadmap, there' still a bit left
Finish level design for "The Citadel"
Add SFX and particle effects for Riposte and Backstab
Find skin assets for Grunts
Work on Menu UI
Work on Save/Load System
Integrate Shrine/Bonfire system
But, until then, enjoy some WIPs of the Backstab, Riposte, and end screens!
